"I'm interested in results—not rhetoric. I'll roll up my sleeves and get to work for the people of Cole County. You deserve a hard worker in the Missouri House."
- Carrie Tergin
Carrie Tergin is a proven leader and third-generation family business owner running to represent the 59th District in the Missouri House. A lifelong resident of Cole County, Carrie previously served as Jefferson City's Mayor, where she earned a reputation for delivering results through a commonsense conservative approach.
During her tenure as mayor, Carrie led the community through significant challenges, including the devastating 2019 tornado, and spearheaded landmark projects like the Bicentennial Bridge. Her record is defined by revitalizing blighted areas, prioritizing local infrastructure, and reigning in government spending to ensure taxpayer dollars were used efficiently.
In addition to her public service, Carrie is deeply involved in the community, serving on the UMB Bank Advisory Board and having previously served on the Missouri State University Board of Governors and the Jobs for America's Graduates Board.
Her conservative Republican platform for the state house focuses on cutting government red tape, supporting family farms and businesses, and standing firmly with veterans and law enforcement. With a deep-rooted commitment to our community's core conservative values of life, liberty, and property, Carrie is ready to get to work ensuring Cole County remains a place where the next generation can thrive and succeed.
